FCA Football Week 2

As we rolled into week 2 of our season, I can already see the growth from all 4 teams. Kids are starting to get it. Last week Coach Crace spoke on Humility.

"Don't be selfish, don't try and impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself." Phil 2:3. Jesus was the greatest example of humility. We must live in a way that embodies that!

Coach Crace challenged the kids to remember that it's about others. It's about their teammates. CS Lewis once said, "Humility isn't thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less."

Our goal is that we flip this self indulging culture to fixate our minds and hearts on others more. We are better together. This isn't an "Me" game, it's a "We" game.

Can't wait to see what week 3 has in store as we roll into a double header this weekend.
