Tacoma, WA (Final Report)

What a great innaugural season for FCA Flag Football in Tacoma, WA. It was a blast getting the chance to see all these kids grow and develop as football players as the season went on. Every team got better and it made for a very competitive playoff. The undefeated Seahawks were the favorite to win it all. However, the 49ers showed no fear and battled to the very end electing to go for 2 for the win with just over 1 minute left in the game. The Seahawks drove the field and had a chance to win but came up just a few yards short. Overall, it was a great season and we can't wait to see it going again next winter!

Following the Championship and 3rd place game, FCA Football hosted an end of season celebration at Rainier View Church. 140+ players, parents, volunteers, and family members came out for a BBQ and to honor the boys on their great season. Each athlete was awarded a medal honoring the character traits they best represented throughout the season:
